Summary
We are looking for a first officer to join a 40m new build in the Netherlands.
This is not your ordinary 40m, it's a custom aluminum, fast displacement with a serious owner.
For a 1st March start, I am looking for a motivated, fit and positive first officer, with a YM as a minimum and working towards his ticket, so an OOW is not essential, but would be beneficial.
Looking for someone with high person and professional standards and someone that understands the level of care that is need when working on a new vessel.
Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications, but the wages will be at the high end of industry standard, if not above.
First season will be the Med, Caribbean winter and potentially the Great Lakes for the second summer.
We have a 43ft tender that we will be towing, so experience with large tenders and towing is a must.
This is a great opportunity to get in at the ground level with a very nice family who are just starting their yachting adventure.
Standard holiday packages from the start, but this will likely change in the future.
This will be yachting done right and will be an extremely good job moving forward.
