Captain – 68ft Sunseeker M/Y

We are seeking an experienced and confident Captain for a 68 ft Sunseeker. This is a private family program with primarily day trips along the Intracoastal, cruising up to the Boca Resort or down to Miami. There are occasional short trips to the Bahamas, and summers are typically spent in Sag Harbor/Northeast.
This is a hybrid role and should be viewed as approximately 75% Captain / 25% household support. This is not a position where the Captain remains idle when the yacht is not in use. The owner is looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and comfortable contributing beyond the helm.
Captain responsibilities include safe operation and navigation of the vessel, day trips and light cruising, Bahamas crossings as needed, seasonal relocation to the Northeast, and overall care and maintenance of the yacht.
Household responsibilities include light support at the residence when the yacht is not being used, assisting as needed alongside a full-time House Manager who works five days per week. This support role is supplemental and collaborative, not a standalone house management position.
The ideal candidate has strong experience operating vessels in the 60 to 70 ft range and feels fully confident running a 68 ft motor yacht. A license is not required, but experience and competence are essential. Engineering or mechanical experience is a strong plus. Candidates must be non-smokers and bring a positive, willing-to-help attitude.
