A 37m motor yacht is seeking a Sole Engineer. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives as an active member of a small, hands-on team.
Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the technical operation and maintenance of the vessel
- Ensure all machinery and systems are in top working order for both charter and private use
- Actively contribute to the day-to-day operations of the yacht alongside the crew
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and classification requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Small Vessel Chief Engineer (Y3 equivalent) qualification
- Experience on motor yachts of similar size
- Hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented approach – not a “white overalls” engineer
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions onboard
- Will need to have proven experience within yachting and good longevity within roles
