Summary
We’re a dual-season vessel, spending summers in the Mediterranean and winters in the Red Sea.
We are currently at our home berth in Egypt for the winter. The yacht is a 41m, operating with a crew of 9, including an interior team of 3.
The owners are Egyptian but very international, having studied in both the US and the UK, they are friendly and very pleasant to work for. Lazy Me is part of a larger fleet, and during the summer we typically operate in the Eastern Mediterranean, with itineraries around the Cyclades, Mykonos, Bodrum, and the Turkish Riviera.
In the winter, we are based in the Red Sea at a beautiful resort called El Gouna. At this time, the yacht functions more as a day boat, with afternoon trips to the reefs for lunch and swimming. Days are usually shorter, and if no guests are in town, weekends are long and we enjoy plenty of downtime. What makes this season especially unique is that we don’t live onboard.. instead, we’re accommodated in stunning holiday lets with private en-suite rooms, swimming pools, and great amenities.
Our crew is very sociable, friendly, and operates like a family. The team is predominantly English, with all Deck and Interior members between 19 and 27. The Captain and Engineer are Australian, and our Chef is Indonesian.
