Male Chef – 42m Private Fishing Yacht
A 42m world-renowned private motor yacht is seeking an experienced Male Chef to join a busy, fishing-focused program currently operating in Costa Rica, with plans to remain predominantly West Coast based (Costa Rica, Mexico, BC/Alaska). Summer itinerary is yet to be confirmed.
This is a hands-on program with a strong emphasis on fresh seafood and simple food done well. The owner prefers clean, well-executed dishes rather than overly complicated fine dining. Experience handling fresh fish and adapting menus to active fishing seasons is a big plus.
The yacht is maintained to a high standard and runs an active program including sailfish, marlin, salmon and halibut seasons. Crew are active and outdoors-oriented.
Requirements
- Proven yacht or strong maritime chef experience
- Confident with fresh fish
- Organised, clean, and efficient in a solo galley
- STCW & ENG1
- B1/B2 visa
- No criminal record
- No visible tattoos (or must be covered when guests are onboard)
- Non-smoker when guests are onboard
