29m Sole Engineer / Experienced Deckhand – Dual Qualified
29m Private / Charter Motor Yacht - Up to 8-10 weeks charter
Cruising: SOF, Corsica, Sardinia, Croatia and Montenegro (Med-based)
Seeking a professional, experienced, hands on Sole Engineer / Deckhand for a Commercially Registered 29m Private and Charter Motor Yacht. The role will initially focus on completing the final stages of a shipyard period (finishing end of April), before moving into full cruising operations with a mix of owner and charter trips, cruising in the Med for summer. This is a dual role position for an experienced Engineer who is happy to assist on deck during busy owner and charter trips. Lovely owners, strong team ethic and a positive onboard work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine room operations and maintenance
- Shipyard oversight
- Navigational experience
- Assisting on Deck during owner and charter trips
- Docking, mooring and watchkeeping
- Tender driving and basic navigation assistance
Required Qualifications
- AEC 1 and AEC 2
- ENG1
- STCW
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years yachting experience with land based Engineering background
- Experience on similar sized vessels
Contract / Salary
- Seasonal with opportunity to go permanent
- Salary: DOE
