Position: Lead Deckhand / Deckhand
Location: Bahamas
Vessel: Private / Charter – Dual Season
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a motivated Lead Deckhand or experienced Deckhand to join a well-run dual-season private/charter yacht operating primarily in the Bahamas.
About the Program:
This is a busy but enjoyable program with a good mix of private use and charter, offering strong experience, active cruising, and a professional onboard atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- All standard deck operations and maintenance
- Wash downs, polishing, varnish, and detailing
- Line handling, anchoring, docking, and tender operations
- Guest service support during charters
- Safety procedures and watchkeeping
- For Lead Deckhand: assisting with deck team leadership and training
Requirements:
- Previous yachting experience preferred (lead experience a plus)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Confident tender driving
- STCW & ENG1 (or equivalent)
- Yachtmaster 200gt
- Ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with guests
