Summary
We are looking for an experienced and professional captain to manage and operate a 72ft Southern Wind. The ideal candidates are a couple, with the captain responsible for navigation and technical management of the vessel, and the partner acting as deckhand, stewardess and chef, ensuring excellent onboard service and cuisine. The yacht has recently undergone extensive refits and is in excellent technical and aesthetic condition. During the summer season, the yacht will be operated in the Mediterranean Sea. An Atlantic crossing is planned for autumn/winter, making solid ocean-going experience essential. We are seeking candidates with:
- Extensive sailing and ocean-crossing experience
- Proven technical expertise, including strong skills in mechanics, electrical systems, and marine engineering
- High standards of professionalism, responsibility, and reliability
- Experience in yacht maintenance
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills as a couple
