The Role & The Yacht
- Position: 3rd Officer
- Vessel: 100m Prestigious Luxury Superyacht
- Base: Predominantly US-based operations (requiring relevant documentation/visas)
- Contract: Permanent rotation 12 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. This is a long-term, stable appointment.
- Start Date: mid-February.
Essential Requirements for Immediate Consideration
We need a candidate with a proven track record who can hit the ground running. Your application must demonstrate:
- Experience: Recent, verifiable experience as a qualified OOW on 70m+ luxury superyachts.
- Certification: Officer of the Watch STCW Reg. II/1 Unlimited Certificate of Competency (A non-negotiable requirement).
- Visas: A Valid B1/B2 visa is mandatory for non-US/Canada passport holders due to the vessel's primary operating region.
- Availability: Readiness to join the vessel by mid February.
Preferred Background
Candidates who bring experience from commercial cruise ships are highly preferred, as this background often provides the structured operational knowledge and experience needed to excel in this demanding superyacht environment.
