Summary
We’re looking for a solid Deckhand / OOW to come onboard and properly join our team, not just fill a berth. This role suits someone who can hit the ground running, is hands-on, and is happy with a 90/10 split – Deck / Bridge.
You’ll need to hold OOW 3000 GT or higher. This can be someone with a couple of seasons’ experience or a newly qualified OOW who’s motivated and looking to gain their first proper OOW experience in a supportive, well-run program.
What we’re after:
- OOW 3000 GT or higher.
- Minimum 2 seasons’ experience preferred, but newly qualified OOWs welcome.
- Experience with Jet drive tender.
- Comfortable and professional with guest operations.
- Solid experience with anchoring.
- Strong all-round deck maintenance skills.
- Happy with a 90/10 Deck / Bridge role.
- Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic.
- Male.
- Must be based in Europe or nearby and available to join.
The program:
- 3:1 rotation
- 13th month bonus
- Initially shipyard-based for a few months, so attention to detail and teamwork are key
- Then cruising the Mediterranean, with longer-term plans to cross over
- Busy but organized program with clear expectations and room to grow
Start date: Flexible - Mid February.
