This 70m+ MY is currently looking for an experience ETO to join them onboard towards the end of February. The ideal candidate will have 3 years minimum in yachting already and already be in Europe. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and correct operation of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, ensuring all systems are safe and operating efficiently. This includes carrying out regular maintenance and testing of all electrical and electronic systems such as power generation and distribution, navigation and communication systems (including GMDSS), control and automation systems, as well as lighting, alarm, and monitoring systems. The position requires strong skills in ENEM and GMDSS maintenance, strict adherence to all relevant safety procedures, technical standards, and manufacturer guidelines, and providing hands-on support to the Chief Engineer with the day-to-day operation and upkeep of all vessel machinery and electrical systems.
