Chief Officer/1st Mate in France

Summary

We are currently looking for a Chief Officer/Mate:

YACHT: 40m Motoryacht,

PROGRAM: Private / Charter - Med,

PACKAGE: 5.5K€ / 60 days leave,

BASE: SOF - single season,

REQUIREMENTS: Min qualification YM / MOY 200gt

Currently in shipyard in Antibes completing 5 year survey,

START DATE: 4th February (flexible) with a handover from the current Chief Officer.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and excellent seamanship. This candidate must also be safety conscious, with strong navigation and passage planning abilities. This is a hands-on role during trip and turnarounds, also with responsibility for keeping charts and publications up to date and performing all required safety checks as well as teaching and maintaining a good safety culture onboard

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt
