Summary
A Chief Engineer position is currently open for a 62m motor yacht undergoing its 5-year survey and multiple upgrades in a South of France (SOF) drydock. This role offers an equal 8:8 rotation with a start date of February 9th, 2026 (with slight flexibility).Â
Role Overview & Requirements
- Qualifications: Must hold a Commercial ticket, Chief Engineer Unlimited, or a strong SV1 certificate.
- Training: An MTU 4000 training course is strongly preferred due to the vessel’s MTU care agreement.
- Attributes:Â The vessel seeks a fit and active professional who is a non-smoker.
- Desirables:Â Prior Cat C7/C9 training, a full driver's license, and Fgas qualifications/experience.Â
- B1B2 is preferred in hand but not a necessity, and can be applied for the perfect candidate.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €10,000 per month plus an equal share of charter tips.
- Bonuses: Includes a performance-based 13th month, with potential for increases based on longevity.
