Position: First Mate
Vessel: 37m Motor Yacht
Location: Caribbean
Contract: Rotational – 2 months on / 2 months off
We are seeking an experienced and motivated First Mate to join a professionally run 37m motor yacht operating a busy charter program. This is a rotational position (2:2), ideal for a career-minded officer looking for long-term stability and progression.
Requirements:
- Proven charter experience on similar-sized vessels
- Valid B1/B2 visa
- GMDSS
- Medical First Aid
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Non-smoker
- OOW 3000 preferred, or close to completion
- Strong leadership, safety-focused mindset, and excellent guest interaction skills
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Captain with safe navigation and bridge operations
- Managing deck operations and maintenance
- Leading and training deck crew
- Overseeing safety procedures and drills
- Supporting a high-end charter guest experience
