Lead Deckhand – 72m Expedition Vessel

We are seeking a Lead Deckhand to join a well-established deck team of six onboard a 72m expedition vessel with a busy worldwide cruising itinerary.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ deck experience. As this is not a typical yacht, the role requires someone who is highly adaptable, capable of learning quickly, and comfortable working in a dynamic expedition environment.

Strong maintenance skills and excellent tender driving ability are essential, along with a proactive attitude and the ability to lead by example within a professional deck team.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Navigational Watch Rating (NWR) Certificate
• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
