Summary
AVIT Engineer required to start in next 2 weeks. Currently in shipyard in Italy until April during which time IT network and WiFi will be replaced by contractors where the scope already defined and agreed (Kerio --> FortiGate, Cisco --> Rukus, Starlink, Pepwave).
Technician will report to C Engineer as part of engineering team of 5 and will be expected to assist as needed.
The AV side is reasonably standard equipment with Crestron centralised on the bridge (DM MD64X64) and distributed to the respective cabins and guest areas (Crestron Room Controllers, AVR's/Marantz, Lyngdorf, Sonos). There is no smart lighting.
AVIT engineer has desk space in radio room behind bridge and small dedicated workshop space
Cabin is shared with 3rd engineer and is a good space. The boat is in process of being modernised and reconditioned by an enthusiastic crew.
