Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Hospitality to join an established service team within a prestigious hedge fund environment in Mayfair. This role will suit a polished, service-driven professional, ideally with a background in superyachts, UHNW private service, or luxury hospitality, who thrives in a front-of-house leadership position and values consistency alongside high standards.

Based on-site, the Head of Hospitality will lead the front-of-house operation alongside the head of service, ensuring an exceptional level of service is delivered at all times. The role is highly client-facing and requires discretion, professionalism, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You will lead by example on the floor while supporting the management and development of a team of approximately 11 hospitality staff across the pantry and front-of-house areas.

The position offers an attractive and structured schedule, working Monday to Friday, initially 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, transitioning to 9:00 am – 5:00 pm once fully trained. There are no weekends and very limited evenings, providing an excellent work–life balance while maintaining a refined, luxury service environment.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

·      Leading and overseeing front-of-house hospitality operations alongside the head of service

·      Managing and motivating a team of approximately 11 staff members

·      Ensuring consistently high standards of service aligned with UHNW and yacht-style service expectations

·      Liaising closely with clients and internal stakeholders in a discreet and professional manner

·      Assisting with staff rotas, scheduling, and day-to-day team organisation

·      Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members

·      Coordinating meeting room setups and service for meetings and events

·      Managing hospitality-related administration, emails, and reporting

·      Taking a hands-on approach on the floor and within the pantry as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

·      Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role

·      Background in luxury hospitality, UHNW private service, or superyacht service strongly preferred

·      Experience leading and managing service teams

·      Hands-on, proactive, and confident, leading by example

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      High energy, professional, and well presented

·      Strong organisational skills with good IT literacy

·      Kind, calm, and boundaried leadership style

·      Able to take initiative and problem-solve independently

·      Eligible to live and work in the UK

·      Excellent, checkable references
