Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join our 53-meter private motor yacht.
This position requires a skilled maritime professional with solid technical knowledge and proven leadership abilities to support the Captain and ensure safe, efficient, and smooth vessel operations. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience maintaining exceptional standards of safety, performance, and crew management on board.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Valid Chief Mate 500GT license with relevant experience on private yachts of similar size
- Valid STCW Basic Safety, ENG1 medical certificate, and all necessary travel documents for Europe
- Strong technical competence in navigation, deck operations, maintenance, and safety management systems
- Confidence in supervising deck crew and guest water sports activities, ensuring safety and high-quality service
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills with a professional and organized approach
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Professional demeanour, strong communication skills, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences

Contract: This is a temporary position for a new build delivery in Turkey, aim to become Lead Engineer, rotation when yacht is operational.
