 Start: ASAP – Boat in final building stages

Delivery: June/July 2026

Cruising: Dual season Med / Red Sea

Rotation: 10/10 for the HoDs. Open for the right profiles only.

We are seeking an experienced and hands on Chief Engineer to join a 40m new build entering service in summer 2026. This is a key technical leadership role for someone who values structure, reliability, and long term yacht stability.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on 35–50m yachts

• Open to nationalities. Quality always comes first

• Strong background in new builds or refits preferred

• Calm, solutions driven mindset with high safety awareness

• Organized, proactive and detail focused

• Comfortable working within a rotation structure for HoDs

Your focus

• Take full responsibility for engineering operations and maintenance

• Set up technical systems, logs and procedures from day one

• Ensure smooth handover from build to operational phase

• Maintain reliability across Med and Red Sea seasons

• Support overall onboard performance through foresight and planning

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
