Summary
We have a 45m private M/Y looking for a Chief Engineer to join the program by the end of February.
- The yacht winters in Spain and operates a single season around the Mediterranean.
- You will have assistance in the engine room from the Deck/Engineer on board who has been with the program for over a year.
- Experience and attitude are key here. They are looking for someone to bring energy and stability to the program.
- Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role but they are willing to take on a very strong 2nd Engineer from a larger yacht who is looking for their first Chief position.
- You will need to hold your Y3 or 2nd Engineer Unlimited CoC.
- The salary on offer is €9,000.
- This is not a rotational role. Currently the leave package is 60 days. Although it is not guaranteed, during the off season and depending on the work schedule, you will most likely have weekends off.
- Shared cabin during the summer season and you will have your own cabin for the winter months as the crew numbers drop slightly.
