Summary
We are seeking a Chief Engineer for a 53m yacht, built in 1995 and undergoing a significant refit in 2024, currently located in Italy.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, operation, and management of all engineering systems aboard the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and crew, overseeing repairs, routine inspections, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine engineering, a strong understanding of yacht systems, and excellent leadership abilities.
A relevant engineering qualification and previous experience in a similar role on yachts are essential. The position is rotational, with the vessel set to operate on a worldwide cruising itinerary.
