Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all deck operations, maintenance, and exterior presentation
- Act as Safety Officer, ensuring full ISM, ISPS, and MARPOL compliance
- Assist the Captain with navigation, voyage planning, and bridge watchkeeping
- Lead, train, and mentor deck crew to maintain high standards and morale
- Operate and manage large tender operations (40ft +)
- Organize and lead guest activities including diving, fishing, and kiteboarding
- Coordinate closely with engineering and interior departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain up-to-date safety drills, records, and documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Chief Mate 3000 GT CoC - OOW with relevant experience will be considered.
- Additional skills such as a Dive Master/Instructor, Kiteboard Instructor, Surfer, Personal trainer a bonus
- Valid STCW, ENG1, and all relevant safety and security certificates
- B1/B2 visa (Schengen visa if applicable)
- Experience as Chief Officer or strong 2nd Officer stepping up from a 65m+ vessel
- Excellent navigational, leadership, and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of ISM, ISPS, and PMS procedures
- Charter experience highly advantageous
- Bahamas and Caribbean cruising experience.
Start date: Immediate start for the right candidate
Salary: $8.5-9.5k DOE with equal share of charter tips.
60 days leave
Full-time MLC contract with rotation offered after 8-12 months
