Summary

We are seeking an experienced Captain for a new build 100m vessel, with a rotational work schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing the crew, managing navigation and voyage planning, and maintaining the vessel’s operational readiness. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Master’s license, extensive experience in commanding large vessels, and a strong understanding of safety management systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service are maintained at all times. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a state-of-the-art vessel in a dynamic maritime environment.

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA CoC Master <3000gt / Class 4
  • RMI II/2 Certificate of Competency Master Yachts (Unlimited)
  • Reg II/2 CoC Chief Mate (Unlimited) / Master <3000gt
  • Reg II/2 CoC Master (Unlimited) / Class 1
