Chase Boat Captain/Fisherman | 16m SportFish for a 45m | Caribbean
We are seeking a Chase Boat Captain who is passionate about fishing. This vessel will be supporting a stunning 45m charter vessel.
LOCATION: Caribbean
ITINERARY: Caribbean, USA, Madeira and Mediterranean
START DATE: January or February 2026
SALARY: EUR DOE - standard MLC SEA
CONTRACT: Full-time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Yachmaster, STCW & Seafarers Medical
- Maintain the vessel to superyacht standards
- To maintain and oversee all Engine systems and mechanical operations on the vessel
- Shadow vessel for main vessel – take direction from Senior Captain
- Ability to adapt to a fishing, diving operation or to drive vessel for guest transportation.
- Accountable and ability to manage their marine asset, and communicate with Captain, Owner and Yacht management.
- Adventurous – lots of sea miles. This vessel travels on her own bottom most of the time.
- Similar experience as a Chase Boat Captain or a First Mate of a Fishing Charter vessel or similar
- Personable, to integrate with other crew members and assist on main vessel whenever required.
Extra requirements:
- B1/B2 Visa is beneficial
- 6 month validity on your passport
