Position Overview
A US-flagged 62ft motor yacht based in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced, hands-on Captain. The ideal candidate is comfortable running a mixed owner and day-charter program. The captain must be involved in day-to-day running of the yacht.
Minimum Requirements
USCG 100-Ton license or higher
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Previous experience on similar size yachts
Comfortable operating mixed owner and day-charter programs
Preferred Experience
Experience running 4-hour day charters
Basic engineering and systems knowledge
Strong understanding of maintenance planning and safety procedures
Familiarity with the Fort Lauderdale area and local waterways
Hands-on involvement in daily operations and basic engineering tasks
Compensation & Benefits
$7,000 to $8,000
Potential liveaboard arrangement
Stable Fort Lauderdale–based program
