The Candidate Specification

This is a truly exciting yacht to work on, offering exceptional remote cruising, an outstanding itinerary, and a forward-looking programme with some incredible plans ahead. The vessel is run by a close-knit, hardworking, and ego-free crew where everyone pulls together - even the Captain is hands-on on deck. We are seeking a 3rd Officer to join this dynamic crew this January. This role is perfectly suited to a recently qualified OOW who is confident yet humble, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute positively to a high-performing bridge team.

The 3rd Officer will support the 2nd Officer and Chief Officer across all bridge operations, including navigational watchkeeping, passage planning assistance, safety drills, and the maintenance of navigational equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive individual who enjoys learning, takes initiative, and works closely with the deck team.

The ideal candidate will be practical, approachable, and a strong team player who integrates naturally into an excellent onboard environment.
