The Candidate Specification
This yacht presents an exceptional opportunity, combining remote cruising, a varied itinerary, and a forward-thinking programme that continues to evolve. Operated by a close-knit and motivated crew with a hands-on Captain, the vessel offers a supportive, ego-free working environment backed by generous and highly regarded owners.
We are seeking an experienced Deck / Divemaster (or Deck Instructor) to join this dynamic crew. This role is ideally suited to someone who is confident in leading and supporting guest diving activities while contributing positively to deck operations.
The owners are relatively new to yachting and are still shaping their cruising plans; however, when they are onboard, diving will be a regular feature, with approximately 2-3 dives per week. The successful candidate must hold a Divemaster or Instructor certification and be comfortable organising, briefing, and leading dives, as well as managing dive equipment and safety procedures.
In addition to dive operations, the Deck / Divemaster will support all standard deck duties and work closely with the deck team to maintain the yacht to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be neat, organised, well-presented, and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with owners and guests, explaining dive plans, sites, and conditions in a clear and professional manner.
