Summary
We are seeking a qualified Deck/Engineer to join our 24m sailing yacht based in Australia. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for the onboard engineering systems, including preventive maintenance and fault-finding at sea, as well as managing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. A key aspect of this position involves active participation in sailing and deck operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience as an Engineer on a similar-sized sailing yacht, hold relevant certifications including AEC 1 & 2 and STCW Engineer Watch Rating, and possess a valid STCW Basic Safety and seafarer medical. Strong sailing skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure during offshore passages.
