Program Overview
We are seeking an experienced and polished Captain to lead this program from now through launch in the Spring of 2026 and onward. This is a family-oriented program for fantastic owners. Light - moderate usage throughout the year. The yacht is primarily used for cruising in Florida and the Bahamas.
A family-friendly and safety-conscious approach is essential.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with European shipyards and new-build or shipyard acceptance strongly preferred (Riva shipyard experience a plus, but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as captain on similar sized vessels. Experience captaining larger vessels is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Florida/Bahamas/Caribbean waters
- Charismatic and personable personality while also operating with discretion
- Excellent with families and children
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Safety-focused with high standards of professionalism and presentation
Requirements:
- Yacht Master 500gt
- Valid B1B2 Visa with at least 6 months of validity
- Schengen Visa is a major advantage
- STCW
- ENG1
- Seaman's Discharge Book
- Ability to speak English to a high standard
- Must be willing to comply to a criminal background check prior to employment
