Summary
Looking for an experienced First Mate for a busy 40m Charter MY. Amazing, happy and hard working crew onboard and we are looking for a like minded crew member. The boat runs a structured, by-the-book and fun program with an environment focused on teamwork and reliable contribution.
Requirements:
- Yachtmaster and at least 1 year longevity on a previous vessel.
- Big tender driving experience;
- Offshore fishing experience;
- Diving is a big plus;
- Driven to learn to step up one day;
- Ability to follow already established and successful program;
- Strong leadership, organization, communication and admin skills;
- Ability to manage and train the deckhand effectively, respectfully and kindly and lead by example;
- Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality;
- Requires focused attention to detail and consistent performance;
- Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines;
- Adherence to strict safety protocols and quality standards;
- Outstanding references validating past experience;
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping or any other kinds of using tobacco or drugs. No partying or drinking;
- B1/B2 Visa & documents up to date;
- Cover letter is a must to apply.
