Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Captain for a 39m modern classic sailing yacht currently in Italy. The role entails managing a crew of five, overseeing all aspects of vessel operation, navigation, and safety while ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
This boat has a busy dual season program with private use, Charters and a few regattas per year so a proactive approach to planning and guest relations is very important.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in yacht management and leadership, demonstrating a strong understanding of sailing dynamics and crew dynamics. This position offers the flexibility of a full-time or rotational schedule, making it suitable for experienced couples, such as a Captain/Chef or Captain/Stewardess.
Proficiency in sailing and a passion for the sea are essential, as is the ability to foster a positive and efficient working environment aboard the yacht and deliver a high standard os service to Charter guests and owners.
