We are looking for a Captain for a 40m private MY. The ideal candidate will be very active and responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel and the overall management of all yacht operations, ensuring full compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate the crew, oversee maintenance schedules, and ensure the yacht is maintained to a high standard at all times. The Captain will communicate directly with the Owner and guests, ensuring a high level of service and well-organised, smooth itineraries. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a semi-formal yet relaxed operational style are essential.
Med season from May to October 2026. Captain and Bosun will rotate throughout the winter period. No smoke; no alcohol.
