Join a dedicated team aboard a new 41m vessel in Italy as a Deckhand/Security professional. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the yacht while performing standard deckhand duties that contribute to efficient operations. Collaborating with a crew of nine, you will assist with various guest activities during the Mediterranean cruising season including a full simulation laser combat training system. The ideal candidate will possess proven ship security qualifications and have a background in military service or law enforcement. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role. Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Specialised Deck Courses

• Qualified Drone Pilot (Operator)

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
• Shipboard Safety Officer
• Enhanced Security Officer
• Security Guard

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)
• RYA VHF Marine Radio (SRC)
• RYA Sea Survival
• RYA First Aid

Instructor Qualifications

• RYA PWC Instructor (jetski etc)
• Watersports Instructor

Diving Qualifications (or Beesac, CMAS or PSAI equivalent)

• PADI - Master Scuba Diver
