2nd Engineer in Australia

Summary

A private 55m yacht with a home base in Australia is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join their team, working under a professional and experienced Chief.

MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: 

• Previous experience on board similar sized vessels with proven references.
• Drama free, willing to listen, learn and grow in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• STCW
• AMSA Medical or ENG 1
• Engineer Class 2 Certificate (or AMSA equivalent Engineer Class 3 NC)

ITINERARY: Australian East Coast, then on to the Med!

START DATE: ASAP

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time.

SALARY: Great AUD salary package on offer.

REQUIREMENTS: Ideally located in Australia and New Zealand with full working rights.

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
