Chief Engineer in Australia

URGENT START

A private 55m yacht with a home base in Australia is looking for a highly experienced Chief Engineer to run their program.

MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: 

• Previous experience on board similar sized vessels with proven references.
• Meticulous and clean in your work, with maintenance in mind.
• Are confident managing a second engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• STCW
• AMSA Medical or ENG 1
• MCA Y1 or SV Chief Engineer <3,000 GT & <9,000 kW 

ITINERARY: 

A home base in QLD Australia, with trips up and down the coast.

Potential for trips to New Zealand and South Pacific.

START DATE: ASAP

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time.

SALARY: Great AUD salary package on offer.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Ideally located in Australia and New Zealand with full working rights.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
