Summary
We are looking for a skilled Lead Deckhand to join our team on a 120m+ motor yacht in Europe, offering a permanent position with a 3/1 rotation schedule.
In this role, you will report directly to the Bosun and manage daily operations within a large Deck Department, focusing on maintenance tasks and assisting with refit projects. You will lead a team of 6-8 deckhands, overseeing the launching and recovering of tenders, as well as guest driving responsibilities. Additionally skill sets such as Carpentry, Kiteboarding Instruction, HDA/HLO certification are favorable.
The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of relevant yachting experience, strong deck management + tender driving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
A proactive attitude and professional presentation are crucial for success in this position. A very warm, positive crew yet structured programme.
