Summary

Join a dedicated team as a Deck/Engineer on a 70m+ MY. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both engineering and deck operations while cruising. As part of a small engineering crew, you will be responsible for planned maintenance, assisting with breakdowns, maintaining engine room cleanliness, and accurately recording maintenance tasks. Your role will also involve supporting the deck department during guest trips. The ideal candidate will have prior experience on similar-sized vessels, possess a B1/B2 visa, and ideally have the ability to obtain a Schengen visa. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently once familiar with the vessel are essential. This position offers 90 days of leave per year.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
