Summary
Looking for a captain/engineer for an Australian owned new build, for a 31m explorer yacht being completed in Ancona, Italy, potentially 4-5 crew, start date Feb 26. Boat launch end of May with 2 months of sea trials and handover end of July. Expect to stay in the med for a couple of seasons then our aim is to travel the world over the next few years.
Looking for a well-qualified captain/engineer - would consider a husband-and-wife team.
We expect the captain to be involved in the hiring of the remaining crew and to work closely with the owners in the management of all aspects of running the vessel. Cayman registered, potentially using the VOLY group for payrolls/inventory management and accounting.
The owners are Australian based, easy going.
The vessel is a custom build, sleeps up to 9 guests in an owner's cabin on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and a twin/pullman.
