About the Program:
We are a warm, international family with two children (ages 4.5 and newborn), based in Miami. Our classic 85ft Feadship IMPETUOUS, built in 1977 and meticulously maintained, is currently docked in Miami. Starting in March 2026, we plan to cruise the Bahamas for one month before positioning the vessel in the Caribbean for the season.
This is a live-aboard, private use program with the family flying in for weekends, holidays, and extended stays. A traveling nanny is also onboard when the family is present. We are seeking a professional, friendly and proactive couple who are comfortable in a family environment.
Positions Available:
Captain / Engineer
- Full command of vessel operation, navigation, and safety
- Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude essential
- Experience with vintage/classic vessels preferred
- Comfortable managing maintenance schedules, yard periods, and troubleshooting onboard systems
- Hands-on, independent, solution-oriented
Cook / Stewardess
- Healthy, family-style cooking with a focus on fresh, nutritious meals
- Organized, tidy, and detail-oriented
- Provisioning, galley management, light interior maintenance
- Warm personality, enjoys working around children and family life
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced couple with solid longevity and strong references
- Proactive, discreet, and easygoing yet professional

- Ideally with valid B1/B2 visas
