Overview
We are looking for a part-time Finance Controller to support the financial oversight of assets and work closely with the operations team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with an understanding of operational and expenditure workflows. Experience working with captains, pursers, or similar roles is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Review budgets, expenditure, and financial reports.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations.
- Act as the main financial contact.
- Join fortnightly calls with key stakeholders.
- Ensure strong financial systems, accuracy, and process alignment.
Skills & Experience (Short)
- Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a purser or operational finance role preferred.
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of asset management and related workflows.
