Summary

27m sailing yacht looking for crew, a Mate with a yachtmaster, STCW's and aspirations to become junior skipper, or proven sailing couple, for an informal but adventurous program. We are currently completing an in-depth re-fit with the goal of being ready to start an extended worldwide cruise early in 2026. Light cruising in the eastern med over the summer 2026 to familiarise, then into the southern hemisphere and round the horn.

The owner is relaxed and does not want a typical super yacht service so the desire to live onboard, be adventurous, and ability to be part of a mixed professional and amateur crew teaching and supervising is paramount. It may be a good fit for someone with sail training experience, or couple looking to step up from skippering small boats and needing a helping hand to make the leap, or getting drive time. The skipper is very happy to share knowledge and help crew step up. He will be off the boat for periods so the right candidates need to be self motivated, happy to get stuck in in all areas and importantly to be competent and keen to take on daily management in these times often in remote places where there is not a traditional large yacht presence. Experience with mechanics, engineering, cooking, languages, fishing, diving all greatly desired. Preference for candidates with proven longevity in a role.

Competitive salary, 30 days paid leave and further unpaid leave negotiable.
