Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 55m+ yacht.
We are seeking a seasoned and well experienced Chief Officer to join a very professional and well run programme. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, knowledgeable and a great mentor for junior crew on board.
Requirements
· Chief Officer 3000
· All certs up to date
· Minimum 2 years as chief officer on 50m+ vessels
· Proficiency of Medical person onboard, SSO and all the other required certs
· Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping
· Experience with surveys
· Excellent tender driver with chase boats & able to teach junior crew members
· Strong knowledge of deck maintenance and repairs to assist and oversee the Deck Department
· Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks
· B1/B2 visa in hand

Salary: USD 9000+ DOE
Leave: 90 days
