Chief Officer/1st Mate in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

52 Amels. both heavy charter and private dual season program. (Med and Caribbean)

Looking for a new Rotational Chief Officer to join the team. 10 on / 10 off

Very busy charter yacht, requiring the C/O to spend time on deck with the team. Not just a bridge officer.

She is an older lady, built in 2004 but looked after and undergoing continuous refits between seasons. extremely sea worthy, great owners, great itinerary, great for building seatime.

Must:

• CM3000 CoC in hand and SSO
• Valid documents and certificates
• B1/B2
• Experience on >500GT commercial yacht experience
• confident with ISM
• proficient in running and implementing PMS
• Proficient with ECDIS - Transas
• Experience running shipyard periods, flag and class inspections
• Proficient with paint, varnish, fiberglass etc

Would be Beneficial:

• experience with Watersports
• already have Schengen visa or EU resident

Salary depending on experience but slightly above industry standards (without the charter tips).

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
