Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Chief Mate with a passion for deck management, watersports, and safety. You will join a positive, drama-free team of 9–10 crew members, including 3 on deck, where taking responsibility and showing initiative is essential.
Requirements
- STCW II/2 or II/3 Chief Officer certification
- Several years of experience as Bosun, 2nd, or 1st Officer
- Communicative, professional, and serious
- Willing to lead the deck team while actively participating in deck operations
- Affinity for watersports and safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the deck team, coordinating daily operations
- Maintain the deck and watersport equipment (Seabobs, Flyboards, Jet tender)
- Ensure safe and efficient operations during busy charter periods
- Contribute to an exceptional guest experience
Yacht & Schedule
- 40m+ private & charter yacht
- Currently in shipyard until April
- Summer season: Italy – France – Greece
- Busy charter schedule with several weeks off
