Summary
I'm looking for a first mate who can replace me during my holidays, a position that could lead to the responsibilities of captain. It is a demanding position; we sail on all the world's oceans.
A good knowledge of the ISM & ISPS Code is required, and experience on cruise ships (such as Ponant) is a plus. Having a good understanding of the boat maintenance (Pinpoint) navigation systems and, above all, strong communication skills with guests and crew is essential.
We are currently refitting; it's the best time to learn about the different systems being put in place.
Launch from the shipyard and sea trial in early March, followed by sailing in the Indian Ocean and then heading for Asia/Pacific.
