2nd Officer

Summary

• 60m Dual season Private/Charter yacht are looking for a 2^nd Officer to join them between 16^th-20^th December – It is important you can be onboard by this date as they have an upcoming Charter over the Festive period

• Fantastic yacht with longstanding senior crew, tight knit deck team and a nice working environment!

• They are looking for a newly qualified OOW 3000 that has come through the yacht ranks and is looking to step into their first officers position with plenty of support from the Chief officers and Captains. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone taking their first step as an officer

• The yacht is currently heading to the Caribbean ready for charters. The owner has no plans to use the yacht over the next year. They will charter for the next two seasons and getting plenty of inbound enquiries

• The role will be split between deck and bridge however you will get plenty of watch keeping experience, lots of time with bridge admin, passage planning and chart work

• The crew are a sporty team who like to spend time together, they have use of the toys and tenders onboard and the crew also like to dive in their spare time. If you have an interest in diving, you will get the opportunity to dive with the crew! They also like to play Padel, hike and have a social beer together.

• Excellent longevity onboard, no egos and a very respectful crew who enjoy working together

• On offer is a salary of 6000 Euros, 60 days leave, even split of charter tips, discretionary 13^th month bonus and a solid yearly training allowance to use on further courses

• The yacht is couple friendly and they currently have interior positions open for a Junior & 2nd Stew - If you are an established couple with previous experience working together onboard backed by excellent references your CV's will be considered

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
