WYR is currently seeking an experienced Rotational Chief Officer for a 60m private sailing yacht. This is a rotational position with a planned handover around mid-January, and the aim is to secure the right candidate before Christmas. The vessel operates with a professional crew of ten and runs an active private programme with owners who value a positive team atmosphere and an engaged crew. Candidates must hold OOW or Chief Mate certification and have strong large-sailing-yacht experience, including the confidence to take responsibility during periods when the Captain is off the vessel. The yacht follows an extensive cruising schedule through some of the world’s more remote and adventurous regions, with a balanced mix of passages, guest operations and periods alongside. Please make sure that you have the correct qualification requested and real sailing yacht experience (not just training courses or the odd delivery) before you apply.
