Chief Engineer | 47m Motor Yacht | Private with Light Charter
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Chief Engineer to join a 47m mostly private motor yacht with occasional charters throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about the yachting lifestyle, adventure travel, and working with an energetic, close-knit crew.
About the Vessel & Program:
- 47-meter motor yacht
- Primarily private use with light charter
- Dynamic itinerary: Currently in Costa Rica, cruising north through Mexico and San Diego, followed by a yard period in Seattle, and heading to Alaska for summer 2026
- 9 crew total
- MTU4000 main engines / John Deer Generators
About the position
- Rotation 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off + extra two weeks on a year during main yard period.
- Start date first week of Jan 2026
Looking For
· Engineer who takes ownership and pride in their work
· Team player willing to help wherever needed.
Requirements:
- Ticket/ License required EOOW / Y4 or higher
- B1/B2 visa is essential
- Schengen visa is a bonus but not required immediately
