Summary
We are hiring a permanent in-house Shore-Based Yacht Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day operational, financial, and technical management of privately owned yachts (25–55m).
This is a long-term, hands-on shore-based position focused on the practical coordination and administration of yachts under management, working closely with captains, crew, shipyards and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
• Full annual budget management and cost control
• Invoice verification and supplier negotiations
• Day-to-day coordination with captains and crew
• Technical planning, maintenance scheduling, and shipyard periods
• Compliance, certification, flag and class requirements
• Weekly reporting to the owner or owner’s representative
• Ensuring efficient and cost-effective yacht operations at all times
Key Qualifications
• Proven experience in yacht management, operations, technical roles, or purser/administrative positions on 40–60m yachts
• Strong financial, organisational, and administrative skills
• Confident communicator with captains, crew, contractors, and shipyards
• Fluent English; Italian and/or French are a strong advantage
• Long-term mindset with stability and commitment
