Deckhand/Mate

Summary

We are URGENTLY searching for a 1st Mate & Stew/Cook Team to join a 30 mtr Sail Yacht.

Privately owned

1st Mate must be qualified to Yacht master 200gt with good engineering knowledge and experience

Stew/Cook will be responsible for the interior and crew cooking. 

Yard or Maintenance experience a bonus.

Currently located in Spain where she is undergoing maintenance in her winter yard period.

Sailing throughout the Aegean and Mediterranean waters this summer before she sets sail for the Caribbean in the Winter of 2026. 

Experience sailors 

Proven longevity onboard a similar size yacht. 

Salaries : TBD & DOE 

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
